Abstract:

Physical work environment setting that lees precise will lead to a low level of productivity.
There are will be inefficient production process, and resulting in waste of cost. Therefore, the need
to do research on labour productivity causes of noise NAB change. This studi aims to determine
changes productivity in work activities at NAB 80.3dB and 85dB.
Cognitive ergonomics study approach is used to determine the decrease in productivity,
with an experiment using an aplication Design Tool that Short Term Memory task model for two
level noise, there are 80,3dB and 85dB. Experiment conducted in ergonomic laboratory
Departement of Industrian Engineering UST. Then do performed statistical analysis includes the
probability plot, summary plot, and pareto chart, to determine the amount of productivity decrease.
The result of research is productivity at the level pf 80,3dB and 85dB has decreased by
12%
