Abstract:

The rice husk benefit is most agriculture waste, so writer more at engineering plane, with making the rice husk become particle board (without pay attention to strength of material) with 3 various thickness (1 cm, 1.5 cm and 2 cm) and 4 various compact.
To know the performance from rice husk particle board, done thermal Conductifity test in closed, at horizontal position test, with hot steming from incandescent lamp 80 Watt and flat iron heater element 70 Watt applied rotation.
From thermal Conductifity test in some various thickness given at thickness 1 cm and compact 6-1 and 5-1, thermal Conductifity value is smaller (0,0798 W/m,oC), at thickness 2 cm and compact 12-2 thermal Conductifity value is bigger (0,238 W/m,oC), so the paddy chaff particle board with tickness 1 cm and compact 6-1 is better use as hot insulant
