Abstract:

'K'luster Analysis by Tree Edge Removal (SKATER) method is a spatial statistical method for clustering location based on dependency relationships between locations. This research analyzes the case of behavioral and water and sanitation facilities in District Bekasi, West Java. Community characteristics in terms of water and sanitation facilities have a spatial relationship between sub districts. Furthermore, it builds the clustering of sub-districts using the SKATER method. The results were there are 6 cluster (from 23 sub-districts). The cluster characteristic is the sub district with the high percentage ownership of clean water, latrines, and landfill was neighboring to the sub districts with high percentage. They were located in the middle of Bekasi. Meanwhile, a low percentage tends to exist in the north of Bekasi.
