ANALISIS PENGARUH SHIFT KERJA TERHADAP BEBAN KERJA MENTAL DENGAN METODE SUBJECTIVE WORKLOAD ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUE (SWAT)

Abstract:

Workload is consequence of activity given to workers. Basically, the workers activities can be differentiate between the physically activities and the mentally ones. In practice, workload met is the combine between physically workload and the mentally one. The measurement of subjective mentally workload is based on perception of the workers such as Subjective Workload Assessment Technique or SWAT method.
The aim of this study was to measure workload in the department of packing and filling at PT. Sari Husada Tbk Yogyakarta. The SWAT method is measurement method of subjectivementally load that is based on work perception by using combine of 3 (three) dimensions with their levels. The dimensions are time load, mental effort load, and psychological strees . As a multi dementia. SWAT did two work steps, i.e.,: making scale ang giving value to the result of the study.
The result of the study shows that the condition of workload among the three shifts has real diiferences. The value of workload from SWAT score moring shift shows low category shifs shows low ang middle categories; evening shift shows middle category. The whole workers more emphasize time factor (39,08%), stresses factor (33,21%), and mental effort (27,71%) in considering the factors of mental workload.
